After attending Kathryn's yoga classes, I have become more aware of my body and my lower back has been stronger than ever. Kathryn also gave me tips and postures to practice when not in class to help with my lower back pain which helped a lot. I am always aware of my posture now and can find some solution to the pain without medication. This is a very powerful feeling. During my teacher training with Kathryn, she not only shared with me the right way for the postures but also gave me the tools to help others with their yoga journey. Love your 102 class. Last night's Karma class I think was a bit more advanced than our normal 102 - but a great challenge. I would like a class - even if it was once a month - on lower back strengthening as I have chronic low back pain - daily - from a 20 year old accident. Focusing on great stretches and strengthening would be awesome - even tho we get a bit of it in each class. I haven't taken the relax and restore but hope to start on Thurs. I attended the yoga and dharma workshop with Sean Drohan this past weekend. I have attended many workshops with Sean over the past year or so and I found myself connecting to the yoga this weekend more than I ever have. I can actually see some of the obstacles removing and I just couldn't see that before. This was big for me. I have traveled a few hours in many cases to attend these workshops because I can see how the teachings are directly relevant for my learning at that particular time and one workshop continually builds on the energy of the last. Tonight was awesome. You really did a great job with this class. It was not too difficult but yet offered challenge. Really great instruction.
